At Refined by Kelsey, I strive to provide every client with a smooth, reliable and high-quality experience. To ensure fairness and to protect my time as a small independent business, the following cancellation policy applies to all bookings. By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below. 

 

1. Deposits 

• A deposit is required for all appointments. 

• Deposit amounts vary depending on the service selected. 

• Deposits may be transferred to a new appointment only when rescheduling is completed with more than 48 hours’ notice. 

• Deposits cannot be refunded under any circumstance unless outlined in this policy. 

 

2. Cancellations & Refunds 

Non Bridal Appointments

More than 48 hours’ notice

• Free cancellation. 

• Your deposit may be transferred to a future appointment.

Between 48 and 12 hours’ notice 

• A 50% refund of the total service cost will be issued. 

• The deposit forms part of this calculation. 

​

Less than 12 hours’ notice or No-Show 

• The full price of the session is payable. 

• No refund or deposit transfer will be provided.

Bridal Appointments

​

More than 10 days notice

• Free cancellation. 

• Your deposit may be transferred to a future appointment.

Between 10 and 7 days notice 

• A 50% refund of the total service cost will be issued. 

• The deposit forms part of this calculation.

Less than 7 days notice or No-Show 

• The full price of the session is payable. 

• No refund or deposit transfer will be provided. 

 

3. No-Show Policy 

• Failure to attend your scheduled appointment without notice will result in the full session fee being charged. 

• Repeated no-shows may require full prepayment for any future bookings. 

 

4. Late Arrivals 

• If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened or may not be able to proceed. 

• If the appointment cannot go ahead due to lateness, it may be treated as a late cancellation, and fees may apply in accordance with this policy. 

 

5. Illness & Emergencies 

• If you are unwell or experiencing an emergency, please contact me as soon as possible. 

• While I aim to be understanding and flexible in genuine situations, the terms of this policy may still apply depending on the circumstances.
